As of 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Shanghai reported one locally transmitted COVID-19 case, local health authorities said Monday. 

The patient worked at Pudong International Airport. A total of 26 close contacts of the patient has received nucleic acid testing, 23 of them tested negative and three are waiting for results. 

Zhuqiao town in the city's Pudong District, where the patient lives, has been listed as middle-risk area, the authorities announced, adding that the patient's transmission route has no link with the third China International Import Expo (CIIE).
