Infrared cameras installed in the forests of Xinlong County of southwest China's Sichuan Province offered a glimpse into the daily lives of animals like leopards and black bears.

Footage shows a female leopard taking its energetic cub for a stroll and an adult male leopard scratching its back against a stone.

A snow leopard was on routine patrol around its territory and a black bear was poking at ants' nest.
