The novel coronavirus has been found on frozen beef's outer packaging imported from Argentina in a recent test of imported cold-chain foods.

The frozen beef was found at cold storage in east China's Jiangsu Province, said local authorities.

The center for disease control in Nanjing City, the capital of Jiangsu, successfully intercepted this batch of products before they flew into the market.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the cold storage company employees and their close contacts had been tested for nucleic acid, and the results were all negative.
