One region in east China's Anhui Province was classified as medium-risk for COVID-19 on Wednesday after a case of the disease was confirmed in the community of Fuyang City, local authorities said.

The city has gone into "wartime mode" on epidemic prevention and control, strictly employing quarantine, treatment and testing measures, and all people who may be at risk of the virus will undergo nucleic acid testing.
