A total of 65,000 people in Hangu Community in north China's Tianjin Municipality have by Wednesday completed their nucleic acid tests, all of which were negative, after one asymptomatic COVID-19 case and one confirmed case were detected in the city. Both cases are believed to be linked to a frozen food warehouse, local authorities said on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the test results of personnel, cargo and environmental specimens in the cold chain logistics zones A and B at the fishing port of the other medium-risk area were also negative, said the authorities.
Related neighborhoods in the city, Hangu Community in the Binhai New Area and the cold chain logistics zones A and B at the fishing port in the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City were designated on Monday as medium-risk areas.
