Twenty-two little houses along the east bank of the Huangpu River are called Wangjiangyi, or waterfront stations. They are places where people can take a rest.

Each station has a theme. Station No. 4, named Discovery, is one of the most popular stations. It tells the history of Shanghai's reform and opening-up through merchandise.

You can find imported goods from decades ago, and popular products from previous editions of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) are also on display.

And if you have your eye on an item, you can order it by scanning the QR code with your smartphone.

The 1862 Art Center, which is also located along the east bank of the Huangpu River, used to be a place for manufacturing large-scale ships.

It was turned into a theater in 2018 and various remarkable performances injected new vitality into the old factory.

It is not just a bookstore, people can also enjoy the best view of the Huangpu River here over a cup of coffee.

This high-quality cultural life reflects the development of the Pudong New Area, and the area will continue to bring more colorful life to the public.
