Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been hospitalized on Thursday due to COVID-19, media reports said. 

The president announced he tested positive for the virus on Monday. 

The country recorded 11,057 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, its health minister said on Thursday. The new cases had taken the total confirmed infections to 500,865, with 9,145 deaths.
