China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Friday reported six new confirmed COVID-19 cases, according to the Centre for Health Protection (CHP).

Four of the new cases were locally-transmitted, while the other two from overseas, the CHP said.

The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the city since January stands at 5,436.
