Dehang is a Miao ethnic village located in Jishou in the Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of central China's Xiangxi, Hunan Province. Dehang, in the Miao language, means "beautiful valley" and is also well-known for the Miao Drum Dance. During major festivals such as the New Year of the Miao people, the natives celebrate the event with the drum dance.
