South Korea slaps maskless residents with fines

Maskless South Koreans will be slapped with fines from Friday. Individuals who doff masks in public places will face a penalty of up to $89, the figure stands at $2,700 for operators of public facilities. The country logged 191 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, as it continues to detect small clusters in and around Seoul.
