U.S. reports record daily increase of over 150,000 COVID-19 cases: JHU

More than 150,000 new COVID-19 cases were reported in a single day in the United States for the first time on Thursday, according to data released by Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
So far, the country has logged over 10.5 million coronavirus infections, with 242,430 fatalities.
