Shijiu Lake is situated at the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in eastern China. Its western half is located in the Dangtu County of Anhui Province, and the other part lies in the Gaochun and Lishui Districts of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The lake is developed from the north part of the ancient Danyang Lake, which is described by Li Bai, the well-known Romantic poet of the Tang Dynasty, in his poem titled the same name as the lake.
Every year from the autumn, tens of thousands of swans come to winter at the Shijiu Lake in Nanjing's Lishui District and fly back to the north next spring. Join CGTN to see the lovely creatures in the charming lake.
