Standing at the tip of Lujiazui by the side of Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower bears witness to Pudong's tremendous transformation over the last decades since its development and opening-up in 1990. /CGTN

Skyscrapers are symbols for a modern metropolis. When it comes to Shanghai, there's no reason to miss the eye-catching Lujiazui skyline, which consists of three super skyscrapers – Shanghai Jinmao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Shanghai Tower. /CGTN

Standing over 60 meters in height with resemblance to an oriental crown painted in a symbolic color of red, the China Art Museum, situated in Shanghai's Pudong New Area, was initially known to the world as the China Pavilion during the World Expo held in the city 10 years ago. /CGTN

With an area of about 80,000 square meters, the Mercedes-Benz Arena is located by the riverside green of Expo Park Zone B in the Pudong New Area. The indoor arena hosted the opening ceremony for the Shanghai Expo 2010, during which it was known as the Expo Cultural Center. The arena was later sponsored by Mercedes-Benz in a ten-year deal and was officially renamed the Mercedes-Benz Arena on January 15, 2011. /CGTN

Less than 80 kilometers from downtown Shanghai, Dishui Lake is an oasis of water and greenery. "Dishui" in Chinese means "a drop of water." The design concept of the lake derived from a planning program provided by German company GMP, which is "a drop of water from the sky falls into the sea with ripple floating layer upon layer." /CGTN
