About 100 different shaped hot air balloons lifted off during the International Balloon Festival, including SpongeBob and famous Mexican cartoons. It happened before a few hundred on-site spectators, rather than the usual half a million, as the rest watched the event online amid measures to stem the COVID-19 outbreak.
