Towering more than 300 meters above sea level on the side of a cliff, the world's highest outdoor lift whisks brave tourists to breathtaking views of China's Zhangjiajie Forest Park. It delivers tourists to the top of the sandstone rock face that inspired the landscape in the blockbuster movie "Avatar." Three double-decked elevators zip up the cliff in a mere 88 seconds, while it takes tourists about three hours to climb up on foot. Around 8,000 tourists take the lift daily as domestic tourism recovers in China after travel restrictions due to COVID-19 ended.
