Africa's confirmed COVID-19 cases surpass 2 million: Africa CDC

Confirmed COVID-19 cases have surpassed two million across the African continent on Thursday, according to the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) dashboard.
The total death has reached 48,408, according to the tally while over 1.7 million patients have recovered.
