The 7th Silk Road International Film Festival opened in Xi'an City, northwest China's Sha'anxi Province. It has a special unit to show young directors' work. Supported by China Jiaotong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Tibet University for Nationalities, film industry professors evaluated all the students' movies and gave awards including Best Feature Film, Best Visual Film and Best Cultural Film.
