Snow blankets the Tangbula grassland in NW China
CGTN

The Tangbula grassland in Nilka County is one of the most beautiful grasslands in Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The green prairie now takes on a brown coat decorated with white patterns as winter approaches.

At the eastern side of the Tangbula valley, there are several huge rocks protruding from the mountain, resembling seals or signets. In the Kazakh language, "tangbula" means "seal." That's why the grassland gets the name.
