China livestreamed its new manned submersible parked at the bottom of the Mariana Trench in Western Pacific Ocean, days after it set a new diving record to the deepest location on Earth. Striver, or Fendouzhe, dived again to a depth of over 10,000 meters to check its capability in carrying out deep-sea scientific exploration, and Canghai, another sub, transmitted high-definition signals for the live broadcast, using a 4K signal acquisition and transmission system.
