The Jiankou Great Wall has seen some early snowfall this year in Beijing. It is renowned for its steep formation and the magnificent mountain scenery around it. Jiankou, Chinese for "arrow nock," is situated in Beijing's Huairou District. Wind erosion along with dangerous cliffs and ridges on both sides of the Great Wall make it a "must-go" for many outdoor sports lovers, however, it is recommended that only the experienced and sure-footed mountain hikers should try their luck on Jiankou.
