China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Saturday announced a two-week postponement of the previously arranged air travel bubble with Singapore, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Edward Yau told a press conference.

The travel bubble between the HKSAR and Singapore was initially set for launch on Sunday.

Health officials in the HKSAR reported 43 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, including 36 domestically transmitted, according to the Centre for Health Protection (CHP).

Thirteen of the new cases were from unknown origins, the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) said.

The city has moved to strengthen social distancing measures in response to a rebound in new COVID-19 infections.
