Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the Group of 20 (G20) summit on Saturday via video link in Beijing at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

In his speech, Xi stated that China proposed to hold the international conference on reducing food waste in due time, welcoming G20 members and relevant international organizations to participate in it.
