Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the 27th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting via video link on Friday at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin. "China welcomes the signing of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and will favorably consider joining the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)," Xi said.
