One outer packaging of imported frozen beef product has tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Tangshan City, north China's Hebei Province during a routine check on Tuesday.

All relevant products have been sealed for virus testing and the storage has temporarily closed, according to local authorities.

The batches of goods have not entered the market, authorities said, adding people involved will be isolated for observation and disinfection has been conducted at the venue as well as nearby areas.
