Twilight scenery through Seventeen-arch Bridge in Beijing's Summer Palace

The most famous scenery inside Beijing's Summer Palace was captured on Friday as all 17 arches of the longest bridge in the royal park are lit up by twilight.

It is said that the Seventeen-arch Bridge was designed to be vertical with the sunset point of the Tropic of Capricorn under delicate calculations, which means the spectacular scene can only be seen in the days around the Winter Solstice solar term every year.‍
