The Chinese Embassy in Paris on Wednesday hit back at France's inappropriate criticism of a tweet by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian about the killing of Afghan civilians by Australian soldiers.
The embassy called on France not to violate human conscience by accusing those who condemned war atrocities on the torture and killing of civilians as "prejudiced."
Zhao's tweet is an objective comment based on the facts and the pictures he cites are caricatures of computer cartoons created by Chinese folk painters based on the facts, the embassy said.
