Hundreds of monkeys that have been going hungry during the pandemic were treated to a lavish feast in Lopburi, Thailand. They were given loads of sugary snacks including cakes, jellies, fruits and juices. The annual event has become known as the "monkey birthday party," "monkey picnic" or "monkey buffet," and is believed to bring good luck to the area.
