A person in south China's Shenzhen has tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday night, local authorities said.
The individual, surnamed Yang, was a close contact of an imported COVID-19 patient found yesterday, a driver who transports goods between Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, and Hong Kong every day.
Yang and his family were traced and put in quarantine shortly after the case was found on Tuesday.
Yang's family members have so far tested negative, authorities added.
