The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and Russia are set to restart talks to set production policies for 2021. Earlier this week, they failed to agree on extending production cuts amid concerns about oversupply and weak demand due to a second wave of the novel coronavirus. The OPEC Plus group had been expected to extend the current production cuts until March. But some major producers are questioning the need.
