Mortars and rockets hit several UN peacekeeping camps in eastern Mali's Gao and Menaka as well as Kidal in the north. Eight rockets exploded near the camps, with the nearest one being only 20 meters away from the Chinese camp. No Chinese peacekeeper was injured thanks to quick response.
