Joe Biden has secured over 270 electoral votes as California certified its presidential election on Friday and appointed 55 electors pledged to vote for Biden, according to a tally by The Associated Press.

California's certification brought Biden's tally of pledged electors so far to 279, according to the AP, over the 270 threshold necessary for him to win the election.
