Live: Rescue work underway following mine accident in SW China's Chongqing

One person was rescued and 18 others found dead following a coal mine accident in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, officials said on Saturday. The accident, found to be caused by excessive levels of carbon monoxide, happened at around 5 p.m. BJT on Friday in Chongqing's Yongchuan District. Rescue work and an investigation into the accident are underway.
