The curtain was raised for the 3rd Hainan Island International Film Festival in the coastal city of Sanya, south China's Hainan Province, on Saturday night. Hundreds of famous directors, actors, actresses and film professionals attended the event. It's the first movie festival in China to have a red carpet walk this year after others were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
