Three new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases were reported on Tuesday in Chengdu City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, local authorities said.
One case was a close contact of a confirmed case on Monday, while the other two tested positive during large-scale testing.
Those who’ve been in contact with the infected have been quarantined and tested for the virus.
As of 6:00 a.m. BJT on Tuesday, the city has tested almost all of the 24,598 samples it had procured.
