Sanya, the southernmost city on Hainan Island, is one of China's top beach holiday destinations. Sanya Bay is one of the five major bays in the city, with many resort hotels along the beach. Similar in latitude to Hawaii, the city has a daily average temperature of 26 degrees Celsius.
