Master chocolatier Justo Almendrote created the world's longest turron, a chocolate and almond nougat, in Madrid on December 4. It took nine hours to make and used 200 kilos of chocolate, 90 kilos of almond and 100 liters of cream. Turron is a typical Spanish sweet consumed at Christmas. This sweet treat will be cut into thousands of pieces and dished out to the public, with all proceeds going to charity.
