As temperature drops dramatically in northeastern China, Tianchi Lake and the Lvyuantan Waterfall at Changbai Mountains have frozen, creating beautiful scenes.

Changbai Mountains, straddling on the border between China's Jilin Province and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), are the highest mountains in northeastern China. Tianchi Lake, or "Heavenly Lake" in English, is a crater lake atop the volcanic Changbai Mountains. The maximum depth of the lake is 384 meters, with an average depth of 213 meters. It is the deepest lake in China.
