The 3rd World Celadon Conference is held in Longquan City in east China's Zhejiang Province. With the title "Legendary Longquan of the World, Marvelous Ingenuity of Ceramics Works," this annual event shows the history and role in the cultural exchange of the green-glazed Chinese ceramic art through 30 activities. Longquan celadon is one of the most famous celadon kilns in China and is called the "jade" in Chinese ceramic. It refers to ceramics produced by large kilns in Longquan, Jincun and other places in Zhejiang Province as well as ceramics produced elsewhere using the same techniques. The production of Longquan celadon reached its zenith in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279).
