Longquan celadon is one of the most famous celadon kilns in China and is called the "jade" in Chinese ceramic. It refers to ceramics produced by large kilns in Longquan, Jincun and other places in Zhejiang Province as well as ceramics produced elsewhere using the same techniques. The production of Longquan celadon reached its zenith in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279).
