Chengdu, the capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province, has registered five more COVID-19 cases on Friday, leading the total number of locally-transmitted infections in the province to 10 confirmed and two asymptomatic. CGTN reporter Ma Ke visits the Chengdu Public Health Clinic Care Center, where recently confirmed COVID-19 patients are being treated.

According to the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission, three of the five confirmed cases were under quarantine in Taiping village in Pidu district, where most of the cases were found. As of Friday, the city has assessed and labeled four neighborhoods as a medium-risk area.
