The sheepskin raft is the oldest means of transportation on the Yellow River in China. Boatmen used to fight danger and exhaustion to earn a living but now Zhou Denan is among those who have seen firsthand how their lives have improved. From a family that has made sheepskin rafts for four generations, he has vowed to keep the skill alive.
