Xi Jinping stresses building holistic national security architecture
Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has stressed adhering to systematic thinking to build a holistic national security architecture.
Xi made the remarks Friday while presiding over a group study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on national security.
He pointed out that the Chinese people should be at the heart of the initiative, adding that actions that might compromise national security should be prevented and mechanisms to detect such actions should be enhanced.
The meeting also looked at ways to strengthen international security cooperation, and to improve the global security governance system.
