First shipment of China's COVID-19 vaccine arrives in Egypt

The first shipment of a Chinese COVID-19 vaccine landed at Cairo International Airport on Thursday. Developed by Chinese state-owned pharmaceutical giant Sinopharm, the vaccine was tested in the United Arab Emirates and is proved to be 86 percent effective.
