U.S. starts COVID-19 vaccination as death toll nears 300,000

The United States on Monday started the first COVID-19 vaccinations as coronavirus deaths in the country approach 300,000.

Thousands of vials of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine were collected for distribution across the country on Sunday after it got the green light from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
