This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army entering the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. To commemorate the soldiers who served in the war, 70 pieces of paintings created by artists from the DPRK are on display at the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing from December 16-20. Some of them are being shown for the first time in China. Hundreds of Chinese veterans are also expected to visit the exhibition. CGTN's You Yang takes a tour to the art show while talking to the curator of the exhibition on the significance of the event.
