Coronavirus found on domestic chicken leg packages in China

A batch of chicken leg packages from the Chinese branch of Cargill Protein tested positive for the novel coronavirus, local authorities in Chuzhou City, east China's Anhui Province, said on Wednesday.

The packages were among three batches of chicken legs, purchased from Cargill Protein China, located in Lai'an County in Chuzhou City.

Following the virus detection, key locations and staff were tested. More than 2,500 samples have tested negative, while 399 are still being checked.
