The Shandong, China's first domestically built aircraft carrier, has recently been conducting training sessions. Named after Shandong Province in east China, the aircraft carrier is China's second aircraft carrier and the first such ship entirely designed and built in the country. December 17, 2020, marks the first anniversary of the Shandong's commissioning.
