Christopher Thomas, a former partner with McKinsey & Company who has been working with tech companies in China for the past decade, believes that in order to improve China's technological ability, its tech companies need to "go truly global," meaning they need to have truly global operations in terms of leadership, R&D, manufacturing, etc., and adopt a truly global mindset.
