Top Chinese officials have laid out their economic priorities for the new year during a three-day Central Economic Work Conference in Beijing. China said it will maintain its fiscal and monetary policies, with a laser-eye focus on expanding the domestic market. 

The conference stressed on the concept of "new development paradigm," in which both domestic and foreign markets would complement each other. Meanwhile, the leaders assured that the increased focus on the internal market wouldn't hamper its progress in the reform and opening up process.
