A duo of golden cats that were confiscated by police in Jakarta, Indonesia, have been rescued and released back into the wild. Footage shows cats Gato and Goldie being released back into the jungle in Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park in Sumatra. Both cats underwent treatment and recovery by The West Java Natural Resources Conservation Center, where they help stimulate natural behavior. The golden cat is an endangered animal protected by law in the country, under the Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystems by the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry.
