Thousands of wild swans recently arrived at Shengtian Lake to spend the winter there. The lake is in Ruicheng City, north China's Shanxi Province. The birds have certainly brought a lot of energy to the once quiet lake, creating a lively scene attracting photographers. Covering an area of more than eight square kilometers, Shengtian Lake sits in a major wetland under national protection along the Yellow River.
